Telecoms Co-ordinator | Newark| Full Time | £22,000 – £24,000 pa

Hours of work will be 8.30am -5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

What will your role look like?

  • To receive and process all sales orders
  • Communicate the progress of orders to the salesperson
  • Engage with the Telecom Service Manager regarding the validity of the order
  • Place order with suppliers
  • Raise the number ports and broadband orders with Gamma and monitor throughout
  • Monitor and manage relations with suppliers
  • Raise installation projects on Autotask
  • Liaise with customers and sales throughout the process
  • To take responsibility for all Services not in use or not being paid for by the customer
  • To ensure renewals for all out of contract/term services are appropriately managed to ensure cost is minimised and any renewals we process do not extend past the customers agreement with us
  • Receive and process orders for additions and extras such as phone handsets and mobile agreement renewals
  • liaise directly with customers to complete relevant paperwork
  • Manage all training needs and requirements through the IT purchasing administrator
  • Take responsibility for Telecom install calendar
  • Arrange PDI of equipment, check all components in place, book with customer, completion of all paperwork
  • Manage customer for the first 30 days before BAU sign off
  • Accountable as a team for coordinating the delivery of high-volume telecoms projects
  • Charged with making sure installs are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Identify and coordinate priority and standard works whilst being mindful of potential issues that may affect timescales
  • Preparing reports on works in the pipeline to sales and line management.
  • Regularly liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure that all completed works are recorded, logged and invoiced correctly
  • Previous experience dealing with GAMMA, Ability and Beyond preferred
  • Update line manager daily with activities
